About Us

With authentic Austrian home cooking, we enchant your palate. The focus is on – as people used to say – "Mmmh, just like grandma's". My dear wife comes from a gastronomy family and was introduced to the ordinary business at a young age. Her passion for this profession is full of dedication down to the smallest detail to satisfy all guests as much as possible.

We chose this location for many reasons. Part of my childhood is here in Oswaldgasse. My grandfather had his first apartment here in Oswaldgasse. I went to school here, where my father was the school caretaker, and I collected many childhood memories here.

Now the Hofleitner family has settled here and we want to lovingly bring you the old charm, the family flair that the Hofleitner name stands for. We stand for friendliness, helpfulness, solidarity, and also a touch of cheekiness :-). You may come as a guest, but you will certainly leave as part of the Hofi family.
